Regret!

He was sure no-one would notice,
So he started for his room,
Quick in his gait,
Because he couldn’t wait,
Just then a voice popped up,
“Why are you late?”
And He froze,
For he knew he couldn’t dodge this.
He was so heavily drunk,
That he completely forgot,
About her,his world,his ailing Mom.
Waiting was her job,
Worrying her hobby.
She was there on that wheelchair helpless,
With her eyes moist,straight face,
Envisioning ,That even today he didn’t get paid,
Only then he would act this way.
And there he was comprehending,
How will I tell her,
That I lost it all in a gambling game..
