One Last Time

Her pace was fast,

so were her heartbeats.

She had to run,

Run to prove herself,

to complete what was unfinished.

Those stitches were not

meant to be an obstacle.

Those bruises were not

anything she would stop for.

Nothing could stop her,

She was just a mile away,

To see him for one last time,

or he would be buried away.
